(Columbia, SC) June 19, 2015 –Eau Claire Cooperative Health Centers (ECCHC) was proud to announce the opening of its new Podiatry and Dental offices that will provide greater access to healthcare for the residents of Richland County. The new offices are located at 3800 North Main Street, Columbia, SC 29203, adjacent to Ella’s Restaurant.
Our Providers are excited to begin working in the new ECCHC facilities and look forward to welcoming new patients and continuing to care for all of their current patients.
An open house was held for the new ECCHC practices on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10am. During the open house, members of the community were invited to tour the facilities and meet the staff.
“We are thrilled to expand our dental and podiatry services in Columbia,” said Delgado Cantave, Interim CEO of ECCHC. “There is an enormous need for many residents to have access to affordable services. We are filling a gap for many people to find the care they need and building on our mission to provide quality healthcare in the spirit of the Good Samaritan.”
ECCHC is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center providing high quality, community-based, primary healthcare services to 60,000 patients throughout Richland, Lexington, Fairfield, and Newberry counties. ECCHC offers comprehensive services including: family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, radiology, women’s health, behavioral medicine, dental, pharmacy. As one of the largest Community Health Centers in the state, employing more than 400 people, including over 50 Medical Providers, ECCHC is a solid economic engine in the communities it serves.
