Position Description: The Family or Internal Medicine Physician, under the direction and supervision of the Cooperative’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO), will provide comprehensive health care to adults age 18 and older.  


A current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician (MD) in the State of South Carolina and Prescriptive Authority for the State of South Carolina is required. Physicians employed by the Cooperative must maintain the required amount of CME to meet licensure and State Board requirements while actively employed. Position Description:  The Charge Nurse is responsible for the supervision of Nursing Department staff members assigned to Eastover Family Practice. He/she will be responsible for assigning duties, examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. The Charge Nurse is also responsible for successful organizational and administrative operation of Nursing Department staff members in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Position Description:   The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a registered nurse who serves as an administrative liaison and resource person for clinical staff members to include Certified Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses within the Department of Nursing. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides support and guidance for adherence to policies and procedures, ensures compliance to state and regulatory agency requirements, ensures that all clinical staff members maintain professional licensure requirements; and is responsible for coordinating and developing trainings. 

Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina. Preferred graduate from a four (4) year program of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s degree in nursing must be obtained within three years of hire. Five (5) years of experience in a medical facility, nursing home, private practice, or community health center with at least three (3) years in nursing supervision, quality management, and/or nursing education. Must have proven leadership abilities, management skills, and have knowledge of policies, procedures, quality assurance and compliance.

Position Description: The Dental Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the dental office by participating in the management of employee relations, patient relations, and achievement of operational goals. They will also be responsible for office profit & loss by managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, and miscellaneous operations expenses. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks such as financial report review; bank deposits, revenue posting, and staff payroll.
Education & Experience: 2 years’ experience managing others. Knowledge of billing and treatment case presentation a plus. Knowledge of insurance plans and dental terminology preferred. Dental Assistant Certification a Plus. Dentrix experience is required. Must have a minimum or a High School Degree; post HS degree is preferred but relevant experience can substitute.

Position Description: EHR Optimization Specialist is responsible for EHR clinical applications support for providers and staff delivering patient care in the Eau Claire Cooperative clinic settings. These responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, Athena EHR/Practice Management computer-based training and orientation of physicians and applicable staff, as well as the on-going computer skills improvement and enhanced competency training associated with the clinical applications. This position will play an important role in clinical workflow design and development as Athena enhancements and revisions are presented. This position will serve as assigned on project implementation teams; workflow documentation initiatives; and clinical enrichment and optimization efforts.
Education & Experience: Three (3) years of experience providing system support to clinical staff, or working in a clinical setting with daily use of an electronic health record. Three (3) years of experience working with clinical workflows within an electronic health record (Athena EHR/Practice Management software preferred)

 

 

Posting: Chief Information Officer
Position Description:
The Chief Information Officer will plan, direct, and coordinate all computer operations within the organization such as: procurement, configuration, maintenance and repair of all servers and communications and networks including hardware and software; procurement and maintenance of miscellaneous software packages; provides data security and establishes a system of reliable backups; and develops and coordinates our IT disaster recovery plan. Ensures that all processing is run according to schedules and that equipment is maintained properly. Involved in the analysis of data flows and technical requirements to define a network strategy, and the equipment required to meet projected data traffic. Analyzes the components of operational systems to optimize system performance against operational standards in areas such as response and down time. Additionally, this position supervises all IT staff.

Education & Experience: Degree in Information Technology required. Medical business office IT experience desired. Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in field or related field along with managerial experience. Experience with Cisco preferred. Strong managerial skills. Excellent communication skills. Integrity with ethical code of conduct regarding company information and patient confidentiality.
