Position Description: The Pediatrician, under the direction and supervision of the Cooperative’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will provide comprehensive health care to pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age.

Position Description: The Family or Internal Medicine Physician, under the direction and supervision of the Cooperative’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO), will provide comprehensive health care to adults age 18 and older.  


A current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician (MD) in the State of South Carolina and Prescriptive Authority for the State of South Carolina is required. Physicians employed by the Cooperative must maintain the required amount of CME to meet licensure and State Board requirements while actively employed. The Physician must maintain licensure and CPR certification during all terms of employment. Individuals that are bilingual/bi-cultural are encouraged to apply.


Nursing Department

Position Description:
The Director of Nursing (DON) represents and promotes The Cooperative’s vision, mission, and values through the management of assigned laboratory, referrals, and nursing team members to assure efficiency and stability of patient care and clinical operations.  He/she is responsible for planning, developing, and supervising clinical activities, trainings, objectives, and the development of policies and procedures which promote global positive outcomes to fulfill the strategic plan of the Cooperative. 
Education & Experience: Must have basic word processing and computer skills, a positive and pleasant attitude and work well with others.  Should be flexible and detail oriented with strong communication and management skills and a professional demeanor.
Education:  Graduate of an accredited four (4) year program of nursing is required; a Master of Science in Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration degree is preferred.  Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina with a current BLS certification.
Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in a clinical patient care setting and three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity in a multispecialty ambulatory clinic setting.  Expertise in clinical nursing:  understanding of state, federal, and local nursing service regulations.  Experience with underserved populations preferred.  Ability to communicate in English and Spanish preferred.

Position Description:  The Charge Nurse is responsible for the supervision of Nursing Department staff members assigned to Pelion Family Practice. He/she will be responsible for assigning duties, examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. The Charge Nurse is also responsible for successful organizational and administrative operation of Nursing Department staff members in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Position Description: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant /Referral Specialist
 Assistant will support nursing staff and providers in the provision of patient care; to include recording vital signs, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing, and assisting with procedures and documentation as required. Location: Eau Claire Adult and Internal Medicine (ECIM)

Position Description: The role of the Patient Care Coordinator is to assume advocacy and accountability for an identified group of patients as part of ECCHC’s Model of Patient-Centered Care during all or part of the continuum of care. This person will assist the Care Team (provider, medical assistant, nurse, behavioral health provider, etc.) by acting as a primary conduit for the transmission of information between providers and patients. The Patient Care Coordinator will provide advocacy, information and referral services to patients and families to address their medical and psychosocial needs. He/she will provide outreach to patients so that they are more engaged in their overall health and well-being. The Patient Care Coordinator will provide coordinated care to (age-specific) patients by developing, monitoring, and evaluating interdisciplinary care.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and diverse socioeconomic situations
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated problem solving skills in a complex environment

Posting: Laboratory Coordinator

Location: Administrative Office, Columbia, South Carolina

Position Description:  The Lab Coordinator works under the supervision of the Laboratory Director to ensure safe and appropriate operation of all Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center, Inc.’s (“ECCHC”) on site laboratories per CLIA regulations and the ECCHC Lab Manual. Responsibilities include: training, inspections of on-site ECCHC laboratories, monitoring and assisting in the process and follow-up of send out lab tests, collaboration with the Lab Director or the Chief Medical Officer on annual reviews and updates/modifications of the Laboratory Manual as well as establishment, maintenance and recording of quality assurance and quality control measures.

Education & Experience:

Candidates must have: a current LPN or RN license, or current certification in Medical Assisting or Laboratory Technology.

A minimum 2 years working in a clinical CLIA Waived or PPMP office to  include knowledge and experience with Lab specimen requirements and skills and experience in phlebotomy.

Position Description:  The Community Outreach Coordinator will work with the Organizational Development and Community Relations team to create, develop, and implement community outreach campaigns for Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center (ECCHC). He/She will support the overall community engagement strategy through building strategic relationships, conducting a variety of outreach activities, and promoting ECCHC to partners, patients, and the public.   

Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field and at least two years in successful community outreach/recruitment and volunteer coordination, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
•    Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
•    Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively, both verbally and in writing.
•    Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage long-term and short-term projects simultaneously and to prioritize multiple tasks.
